About the Achievement Gap Committee

This group of citizens involves anyone who is actively interested in the welfare of our children.  It was organized to study the educational achievement gap experienced by children from high-poverty areas, with a focus on the Twin Cities metropolitan area.  All are welcome to participate without reference to partisan affiliation or preference.

This effort was authorized by the Board of Directors of the Minnesota DFL Education Foundation in January 2007.
