Former Education Commissioner Bob Wedl talks early childhood

On April 19th, 2007, the Committee heard Bob Wedl on early childhood and his views about what is happening currently.  He was Commissioner of Education under Governor Perpich and was working with the Minneapolis schools until recently. He spoke about the  development of Age 3 Grade 3 schools.  His views were captured in a later editorial (8/8/07) in the Minneapolis Tribune endorsing the concept.
